Our Story

The Joy of Small Things

We're two sisters who left fast-paced tech careers for something slower. Now we spend our time hunting down stationery, tea tools, and home goods made by independent craftspeople in Japan, Taiwan, and beyond — and bringing them back to our studio in Southern California.

The idea we keep circling back to is Yō no Bi: beauty found in everyday use, not display. A matcha bowl that darkens a shade each season. A notebook that stops lying flat because you've filled it.

Makers with stories, not factories. Nothing here is meant to be saved for a special occasion.

Our Commitment

Hand-picked

Every piece is thoughtfully curated, if it's in the shop, it's something we'd want in our own home.

Small-batch artisans

We source from independent makers and small ateliers, not mass manufacturers, so quantities are limited and no two runs are quite the same.

Craftsmanship

Every piece is made by hand, not machine-stamped, so the small imperfections are part of what makes it yours.

Ships from the US

Orders are fulfilled and shipped from within the United States, so you get faster delivery and pay zero import tariff.
